Description
Cleaning fabric removes the stains that are there. Protecting fabric stops the stains from forming in the first place.
Most people only ever do one without the other they clean the sofa when it looks dirty, or they buy a protector and apply it without cleaning first. Neither approach works as well as it should.
Cleaning without protecting means the freshly cleaned, open-fibre surface absorbs the next spill even faster. Protecting without cleaning first means the coating seals dirt and residue into the fabric permanently. This combo does both in the right order.
The Fabric Foam Cleaner is used first to deep clean the entire surface its enzyme and surfactant formula breaking down and lifting accumulated dust, food stains, oil marks, and embedded grime from the fibre level.
Once the fabric is fully clean and dry, Fabric Stain Protector is applied coating every individual thread at the nano level with an invisible superhydrophobic layer. Spills bead up on the surface rather than soaking in.
Dust sits on top rather than embedding itself. The fabric looks and stays cleaner for far longer between cleaning sessions.
Together these two products create a complete fabric care routine deep clean, then protect for every sofa, carpet, dining chair, headboard, or curtain in your home.
How to use ?
Step 1 - Vacuum all fabric surfaces thoroughly
Before applying the Fabric Foam Cleaner, vacuum the entire surface to remove loose dust, crumbs, and surface debris. This allows the foam cleaner to work on embedded grime rather than surface-level material.
Step 2 - Apply Fabric Foam Cleaner across the full surface
Shake the Fabric Foam Cleaner. Spray foam evenly across the fabric work in sections for large surfaces like sofas. Use a soft-bristle brush to gently work the foam into the fabric in circular motions. Allow the foam to sit for 2 to 3 minutes. Wipe off with a clean dry microfiber cloth. Repeat any heavily soiled sections.
Step 3 - Allow the fabric to dry completely
This is the most important step before applying the protector. The fabric must be fully dry not just surface dry but dry through the fibres. Allow at least 4 to 6 hours of air drying in a ventilated room, or longer for thick upholstery. Do not rush this step.
Step 4 - Apply Fabric Stain Protector across the cleaned surface
Once completely dry, shake the Fabric Stain Protector. Hold the can 20 to 25 cm from the fabric surface. Spray in an even, straight-line sweeping motion across the entire surface. Allow the first coat to dry for 30 minutes. Rotate the nozzle 90 degrees and apply a second coat perpendicular to the first for full coverage. Allow 6 hours before liquid exposure. Full effectiveness is reached within 24 hours.
Step 5 - Test the protection
After 24 hours, drip a few drops of water onto the treated surface. If the water beads up and sits on the surface without soaking in, the protection is active. If it absorbs, allow more curing time or apply an additional coat.
Precautions
- Do not apply Fabric Stain Protector to damp or uncleaned fabric — the surface must be clean, dry, and completely free of residue before protector application.
- Apply Fabric Stain Protector in a well-ventilated area — open windows and leave the room during application and for 1 hour after. The solvent carrier evaporates quickly but ventilation is recommended during the curing window.
- Keep children and pets away from the area during Fabric Stain Protector application and until fully cured (minimum 6 hours). Once cured the surface is completely safe.
- Patch test the Fabric Foam Cleaner on a hidden area of delicate or heavily dyed fabric before full application.
- Not suitable for leather, rexine, or dry-clean-only fabrics.
